The term "One bird in the hand is better than two in the bush" came to mind while creating this piece. While chasing dreams that are off in the distance, we mustn't forget or neglect that which is already in our hand. It is easy to compare ourselves, and judge unfairly where we are at in our journey. There are always more successful, more capable, more talented people in life. The message that this gave me was really transformational to be present, grateful and to nurture whats right in front of me - whats already in my hand and speak life into every circumstance, instead of "what don't I have", "thank you God for all that you have given me".
