Painted just before embarking on an incredible adventure to Greece with the Milan Art team and other artists in 2021. At the time I was overcoming a multitude of fears, many around a fear of failure, and a fear of rejection. The desire within to put an end to my fears had me pushing head first into those fears at every opportunity. Finding deep strength is what this painting represents. The symbology of the whale is incredibly powerful to me. Not only its sheer mass and strength but also its many deep spiritual connotations - compassion and solitude as well us unbridled creativity. In this piece, I want the viewer to feel the massive foundational power that is within each of us to go deeper and rise up stronger. Release your creative energies and move with your destiny. Magic awaits. The gentle pastel palette combined with free flowing neon drips give a dynamic impression while adding a peaceful composure of a woman bowing her eyes to trust in her inner strength.
